American Power Solutions works with the City of San Diego Environmental Services Department and High School Students throughout San Diego in effort to educate the students about Energy Conservation. APS will visit potential sites predetermined by the City of San Diego Environmental Services Department and the students to determine where energy savings opportunities exist.

APS’s Energy Efficiency Consultants will actually walk the potential projects with the students and teach them where the opportunities are and how to implement them. APS will then prepare a proposal for the selected facility to retrofit their facility using grant funding obtained by the City of San Diego Environmental Services Department.

This is a special community service project created by the City of San Diego Environmental Services Department in effort to raise awareness about energy conservation and to educate young people about the value and necessity of energy conservation.
